The Nghiem Lab and MC3 Institute are once again participating in Obliteride — Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center’s bike ride and 5K fundraiser — on Saturday, August 8th 2026 in Seattle, WA.
This year, every dollar counts twice: thanks to the generous support of Mike and Burmah Rainbolt, all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000.
Last year, supporters like you helped us raise $55,000. This year we’re aiming for $60,000 — and with the match, we’re closer than ever to reaching our goal.

The MC3 Institute, led by Dr. Paul Nghiem, is now running 5 active multi-site studies and trials. Every dollar raised goes directly to our work, including supporting Clinical Research Fellows, conducting clinical trials with innovative combination therapies, publishing national MCC treatment guidelines, educating patients through merkelcell.org, and sharing data with collaborators worldwide.
